ACCESS & VARIETY
TWO VERY PRACTICAL CPD DAYS
NEW WAYS WITH BELTS, BLOCKS, BANDS & BALLS
A creative use of props adds multiple dimensions to a yoga practice, providing access and insight into familiar and not so familiar forms. They can assist with stability, space-making, and offer helpful proprioceptive feedback for building confidence and mindful strength.
We've put together two very practical CPD days for refreshing your use of props. On Day 1 we will work in new ways with the usual suspects (blocks and belts) and show you how to get the most out of small, soft 'pilates' balls as well as the large gym-ball. On Day 2 we'll show you how therabands and small weights are great additions to your practice kit.
Update your use of standard-issue yoga props: the belt and blocks.
Find out how to safely use the soft 'pilates' ball and large gym ball.
Explore how therabands and small weights add mindful strength to practice.
Consider throughout matters of accessibility.
While these are stand-alone study days for teachers, they can form part of your elective content on our 300H teacher training programme.
