AN IMMERSION CPD
UNFOLD THE ORIGINS OF THE BODY, MOVEMENT & SENSE OF SELF
An experiential facilitation of early embryological development and its relationship to our adult body structures, systems and movement. Theory and practical content includes the development of the front, middle and back bodies; the origins, development and containment of the vertical axis, and the spiral development of the limbs.
In addition, drawing from the world of Somatic Psychology, explore the apparent differentiation of Body, Mind and Feeling, and what embodiment means to us as human beings and as yoga practitioners.
We welcome yoga practitioners and curious practitioners from other modalities. (Assignments are only required if you are require a CPD certificate - see below).

Explore the concept of vibration as the origin and fundamental underlying support of all structures and movements
Learn about the seed layers of the early embryonic disc and the differentiation of the front body (endoderm), back body (ectoderm) and middle body (mesoderm)
Discover new vertical axis support through awareness of notochord, gut tube, and neural tube structures
Explore the spiralic development of the limbs as support for pathways of movement
Unfold the differentiation and integration of body, feelings and mind with reference to the embryological seed layers.

This course is designed for teachers with an existing 200 hour yoga teacher training certificate or equivalent. The content assumes you have some experience in anatomy and physiology, class planning and teaching methodologies, as well as some familiarity with yoga history and philosophy.
DATES & VENUE
The training will held between Friday 28th January to Tuesday 1st February 2022 between 10.30am and 4.30pm in North London.
The self-contained studio is easily accessible with good transport routes as well as accommodation options for those that need them. Mats and props are provided (unless otherwise advised)
Free tea is included on all training days!

Beverley is a yoga practitioner of more than 30 years experience and a teacher trainer and movement facilitator of more than 10 years. She embraces an explorative approach to embodiment drawing on her work with Linda Hartley as well as Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen and Donna Farhi. For this course she also draws on her studies wtih Jaap van der Wal. Beverley is the Founder and Director of Studies at Barefoot Body. She is also a faculty member and supervisor for the Institute for Integrative Bodywork and Movement Therapy, and faculty member for Yoga United Yoga Therapy training.
FEES & PAYMENT
Full course fees are £550.
However, if you are registered on our 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training, this could form part of your personal portfolio of Electives Training hours. Bursaries and scholarships are available.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
Your deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances
We will only refund a whole training fee for fees paid in full prior to the date 4 weeks before your course start date, minus your deposit
No refunds will be offered on training fees on cancellations after this date
Fees are non-transferable to another training
