We actively support and encourage teachers bringing yoga into non-traditional settings and less-represented communities.

A SOOTHING ONLINE SPACE FOR BREATHING, MEDITATING & MOVING

QUIET SPACE

The shared practice of breathing, meditating and moving in a group can allow our body systems to cohere to a collective calm; and sometimes this is more nourishing than our more typical solitary practice. This practice space demands nothing of each of us than to just arrive quietly, settle and follow a simple guided breath practice, meditation in the mornings and some mindful movement including restorative yoga and/or Yoga Nidra in the evenings. A soothing way to start and end the day.

HOW IT WORKS

Quiet Space sessions will be held virtually on Zoom on Tuesday mornings and evenings. Mornings will be dedicated to guided breathing and meditation practices, while evenings will offer the space for gentle movement, restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra.

 

Once you've booked online, you'll be sent a link to access the session. You will need to download Zoom to participate. We invite you to find a quiet space in your home where you won't be disturbed for 30 minutes.

We welcome payments of between £2.50 and £5 per session. Or the equivalent of what you'd pay for a delicious warm drink in your favourite cafe. Please contact us if payment is an issue due to circumstances.

Beverley is a yoga practitioner with more than 30 years experience of class teaching and more than 10 years experience of teacher training and CPD/IST provision. Her explorative approach draws on her love of experiential anatomy, infant movement development, somatic psychology and the discipline of Authentic Movement. She studies in other movement modalities including BodyMind Centering®, Feldenkrais Method®, Continuum® and 5 Rhythms®, and has recently been channelling her energies into understanding how embodiment practices can be more accessible through integrating Trauma-Informed protocols.
