Explore the art of sequencing with a three-day course that'll give you the tools and the confidence to weave postures together with fluidity and intention, no matter the student. Explore transitions, themes, voice and movement in a small group setting of no more than 12 people.

Unpick the anatomical principles of strength & flexibility and how they apply to flow practice
Learn how to craft creative sequences and linking movements
Sharpen your teaching skills needed to deliver on-point flow classes
Understand how to introduce beginners to flow practice including matters of accessibility
Appreciate the layering of content and skills for developing students
This course is designed for teachers with an existing 200 hour yoga teacher training certificate or equivalent. The content assumes you have some experience in anatomy and physiology, class planning and teaching methodologies.
UNIT 1 ANATOMY
Understanding the principles of strength and flexibility. Identifying the keys to safe transitions and sequencing. Exploring the support of the body's fluid systems, flows and rhythms.
UNIT 2 FORMS & SEQUENCES
Exploring relationships between forms, linking movements and embellishments, and creating balanced sequences. Integrating breath and movement.
UNIT 3 PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
Working with themes and creating movement narratives. Understanding pace, rhythm, and crescendo. Cultivating language and vocal techniques. Introducing flow practice to beginning level students. Developing flow practice for experienced students.
DATES & VENUE
The training will be held on Friday 9th to Sunday 11th October 2020 between 10.30am and 5.30pm at The ARC Centre in London.
The centre is easily accessible with good transport routes as well as accommodation options for those that need them. Mats and props are provided.
Free tea is included on all training days!

STUDY & ASSESSMENT
6 hours of pre-course study including reading and self-reflection assignments. This ensures everyone arrives primed and well prepared

Submission of a filmed sequence for feedback on criteria including structure, suitability of content, and inclusivity
8 weeks prior to the start date, you'll received the Course Manual and a reading list detailing the texts you'll need to access
Comprehensive course handouts will be provided
You'll need access to a computer, internet, camera, printer, and stationery. Mats and props are provided on trainings days
Rachael is an expert in crafting dynamic and creative vinyasa flow sequences, with over a decade of experience.
Beverley draws strongly on the principles of embodied anatomy, somatic psychology and trauma-sensitivity.
FEES & PAYMENT
Full course fees are £440.
However, if you are registered on our 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training, this could form part of your personal portfolio of Electives Training hours.
Bursaries and scholarships are available.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
Your deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances.
We will only refund a whole training fee for fees paid in full prior to the date 8 weeks before your course start date, minus your deposit.
No refunds will be offered on training fees on cancellations after this date.
Fees are non-transferable to another training.
