origin story: embodiment & self-enquiry

Like all super heroes an origin story adds depth and meaning to being alive, and to write a personal backstory you might join me in making an experiential enquiry into early embryological development. In practical terms, I will guide you the theory and practical content including the development of the front, middle and back bodies; the origins, development and containment of the vertical axis, and the spiral development of the limbs. We will relate these to our adult body structures, systems and movement. In addition, we will draw from the world of Somatic Psychology, and Embryosophy to explore the apparent differentiation of Body, Mind and Feeling, and what embodiment means to us. During the project, I will offer you selected readings, guided movement practices, and creative journaling prompts. There will be 12 SESSIONS to work through from 12 January 2025 to 30 March 2025. Each week all the resources will arrive in your in-box and be stored in a dedicated Google Classroom space. You can work at this weekly pace or find your own rhythm as any recorded practices are available for you until 31 October 2025. You'll also have an invitation to join a private Facebook Group to connect with me and other participants for extra support, sharing ideas, and asking questions.
