A SPRING CARE
FOR YOGA TEACHERS & PRACTITIONERS
Uplifting offerings to revive and refresh you through Springtime.
It's a long haul, isn't it? Who would have thought a year ago that we would have experienced the changes and challenges that we have? A year. I don't know about you but I find that fact astonishing.
We've put together a Spring Care Package for you as you ease yourself into the turning of the seasons.
You'll find a collection of our favourite poems, some journalling prompts, a playlist of uplifting tunes (and yes, some birdsong!), a Yoga Nidra practice on the theme of freshness, and a guest practice from Rachael Moore.
We hope you can make time to enjoy them. Do get in touch and let us know which are your favourites. We'd love to hear from you.
Carve out a moment in your day to embody the feeling and freshness of Spring with this 15-20 minute yoga nidra practice.
... and a touch of art!
We so often turn to the wisdom of poetry in our Barefoot Body trainings.
So we've curated a collection of uplifting, hopeful poems as well as a piece of spring-inspired art, that we've bound together in a digital pack for you to download and pore over.
We recommend reading with your favourite tea or coffee blend, and perhaps a biscuit (or two).
You can also listen to a reading of Mary Oliver's "Among The Trees" by Amanda Palmer here.
A short 10-minute flow from Guest Tutor, Rachael Moore, that encourages a gentle unfurling of body and mind through movement and breath.
A beautiful way to start the day with intention but also lovely anytime you need a bit of movement. No props required — just you, your breath, and a desire to get moving.
Get your inspiration flowing with some creative practices including journalling and collaging. This practice may help you:
connect with the uplifting qualities of Spring
understand your relationship with new opportunities and fresh starts
encourage you to move out of your comfort zone by exploring projects and skills you'd like to pursue over the course of the season
Download our Spring Creativity Pack and set aside some time for play and reflection.
