FOR YOGA TEACHERS & PRACTITIONERS
Here comes Summer.
We started putting together these seasonal offerings to recognise that you, like us, were probably getting worn out from all the covid-changes, particularly the toll of becoming an online Zoom teacher and student and juggling all of that with a shifting home life. Well, here we are with more goodies!
Our Summer Care Package is full of sunshine themes for you.
You'll find a collection of our favourite summer poems, some journalling and art prompts, a playlist of uplifting tunes (expect Latin rhythms, and mellow acoustic), a Yoga Nidra practice on the theme of the senses, and a guest practice from Rachael Moore and added insights into the scents of summer.
We hope you can make time to enjoy them. Do get in touch and let us know which are your favourites. We'd love to hear from you.
Carve out a moment in your day to with this 30 minute yoga nidra practice evoking the feeling of Summer.
We so often turn to the wisdom of poetry in our Barefoot Body trainings.
So we've curated a collection of poems inspired by summer that we hope you will enjoy with your sunglasses on in the garden, or the park, or maybe you will find a river bank or beach.
You can also listen to Mary Oliver read her own poem The Summer Day here. You might like to reflect and journal as she invites you into a courageous question.
Get your inspiration flowing with some creative practices including journalling and collaging. This practice may help you:
make the most of the coming summer weeks
take a fresh look at your staycation
encourage you to pause and reflect on the year so far; with time for a reset or restart in September.
New for the summer, we've also added an Art Gallery pack of images and insights to inspire your creativity and your movement practice: our teacher's choice for summer is Georgia O'Keefe nominated by Tiffany Thorne.
Download our Summer Creativity Pack and set aside some me-time.
