restorative yoga teacher training
The art, science and significance of rest. JUNE 2026
This three-day practical immersion explores the transformative power of rest through both theoretical understanding and hands-on practice.
Beginning with 3-6 hours of guided pre-course study, you'll delve into the anatomy and physiology of rest, discover the historical roots of restorative practices, and examine rest as a radical act of resistance in our productivity-driven culture.
During the immersion, you'll gain extensive practical experience working with props to support restorative asanas, learn how to create welcoming and therapeutic spaces, and develop skills in sequencing and planning meaningful rest-based sessions. This course balances intellectual inquiry with embodied learning, equipping you to facilitate profound rest experiences for yourself and others.
Ideal for yoga teachers seeking to deepen their understanding of rest as both practice and philosophy.
